If you have photos of brows you admire, feel free to bring them as well! While we’ll use them for inspiration, it’s important to remember that brows are like sisters, not twins—each set is unique, and our goal is to achieve balance and harmony with your facial features. Rest assured, we are committed to delivering results that prioritize your satisfaction and confidence.

Questions The Day of Appointment
Essential details to ensure a smooth, confident experience on the day of your cosmetic tattoo appointment. From arrival to aftercare, this guide answers key questions to help you feel fully prepared and at ease throughout the process.

To ensure your safety and optimal results, here are some important steps to take before your appointment:
- Arrive with your brows styled as you normally would to give us insight into your preferred shape. To minimize the risk of infection, please avoid wearing any additional makeup to your appointment, including foundation, concealer, or eyeshadow. A clean, moisturized face with brows drawn in is all you need!
- Avoid blood-thinning medications on the day of your appointment, including Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Vitamin E, Niacin, magnesium, and fish oil supplements.
- Do not drink any caffeine (including decaf tea/coffee, sodas, kombucha, beer/wine/hard liquor, etc.) the morning of your appointment to reduce irritation and ensure a smooth procedure.
- Allow extra time for travel by accounting for potential traffic or construction delays. Familiarize yourself with the driving directions provided if it’s your first visit.
- No Fitness/Working Out due to sweat pushing out pigment.
- Revisit our policies and protocols on the morning of your appointment to ensure you’re well-prepared.
Your Session 2 should be scheduled within 8-10 weeks of your initial session. Appointments outside this window may incur an additional fee. It’s your responsibility to make sure your follow-up and any touch-ups are scheduled ahead of time to secure availability.
If you want beautiful, long-lasting results, then yes. Session 2 is highly recommended as we won’t know exactly how you’ll heal after the first session. Some clients may experience small patches where the pigment didn’t take properly. If you want the final result to be as seamless as possible, trust us—book your follow-up session!
The initial procedure typically takes 4-5 hours, allowing for a detailed consultation, custom brow shaping, and precise outlining. We take our time to ensure both accuracy and safety—your face deserves nothing less. When you arrive, we’ll discuss your preferences and design a guide that reflects your ideal look. The pigment we choose will blend seamlessly with your natural brows for a flawless finish.
While the tattooing process itself typically lasts 1.5-2 hours, we recommend allowing up to 5 hours for the full session. This gives us the flexibility to make any final adjustments and ensure your brows are exactly as you envision. Sessions may conclude earlier, but we ensure plenty of time for any last-minute refinements. We encourage you to avoid any time-sensitive commitments after your appointment to ensure the utmost care and attention to detail for your brows.
We advise against tinting or waxing your brows before your appointment. Tinting can cause patchiness once the color fades, and waxing may irritate your skin, affecting the healing process. If you must tint your brows, please do so at least 7 days prior to your appointment to minimize the risk of skin irritation.
Only brow makeup; Please avoid wearing foundation, heavy eye makeup, or lipstick to your appointment. Clean moisturized skin with drawn brows; This ensures your skin is clean and bacteria-free, which helps minimize the risk of infection. If you have a specific brow shape in mind, bring reference photos of yourself to share with us—we want to create a shape you’ll love.
Absolutely! We work with you to design a shape that enhances your natural features. We’ll avoid extremes—no overly thin, sharp arches or overly bushy brows unless that’s what you want. Our goal is to create brows that look natural and flattering without makeup but can easily be enhanced with makeup when desired. We’ll work with your existing hair growth and direction for easier maintenance year-round.
Pain tolerance varies from person to person, but it would be misleading to say that you won’t experience any discomfort. Since we’re implanting ink into your skin, some sensation is inevitable. After the first pass, we apply additional numbing agents, which will take full effect and significantly reduce any discomfort. On a scale of 0 to 10, discomfort typically ranges from 0 to 3. Think of it like a light scratch or slight pressure. Is it worth it? Absolutely. If we can handle it, along with over 500+ clients, so can you!
Yes, you can drive home after your appointment. However, we recommend caution as it’s easy to be distracted by your new brows. If you’re feeling excited to check out your new look, please focus on the road for safety’s sake.
Questions After The Appointment

Healing for cosmetic tattoos typically takes 5-8 weeks.
Right after the procedure, your brows will look darker and thicker due to swelling and the initial pigment deposit. Within 2-3 weeks, your brows will lighten by 30-40% and the strokes will appear finer. The brows may look more intense and bold for the first week, so plan accordingly for any upcoming events.
For the first 10 days, or until the scabs are gone, avoid makeup on the treated area—treat it like an open wound. Apply makeup carefully on other areas, but don’t let it touch the brow area. The healing process needs to be respected to avoid irritation.
While everyone’s skin heals differently, brows typically last 2-3 years. Factors like lifestyle, sun exposure, and skincare routine will impact how long the pigment stays.
Schedule your follow-up within 8-12 weeks of your initial session to ensure optimal results. We recommend booking this appointment in advance, as availability is limited. If you don’t book on time, you may incur additional charges. We cannot guarantee touch-up pricing or availability if the follow-up is missed.
Wait at least 6 weeks post-procedure before tinting your brows. Allow the tattoo to fully heal before considering other treatments.
Faux Freckles & Beauty Marks
It takes about 4 weeks for the marks to fully heal, with final results visible after that period. Expect them to appear more natural 7-10 days post-procedure.
We recommend bringing reference photos to guide your preferences. We will mark each beauty mark with the pigment that will be used, giving you the chance to adjust before we begin tattooing.
The area is pre-numbed, and we apply additional numbing during the procedure to ensure your comfort. Pain is minimal, and the result is well worth any minor discomfort.
